Question: What is a good sailboat to travel the islands of the world?

I’ve been wanting to buy a sailboat and travel to all different islands around the world, I’ve been looking into catalina models but im having trouble choosing, i don’t want to spend more than 75,000, thank you

Answer: Mike,

All your sailing dreams can come true… and they should start coming true at the link below.
It doesn’t list bunches or boats to confuse you more, instead it will guide you through the process of identifying what you really need – so that you can easily and understandably narrow the choices down to a boat that fits your philosophy, lifestyle and pocketbook.

It will answer all your questions, and then some. From choosing the right boat for you… to the equipment you need, to provisioning your vessel, to what you can expect and what you can expect to spend… All while living comfortably and living well – on a frugal budget.
Check it out… You will be glad you did.

Happy & Safe Boating,
John

Catalina Island Ca Hotels

Question: Beach location in CA?

Hi there.. anyone have any good ideas about where to go this summer near LA (where we live)? Looking for a beach-type location, not too expensive, though. We tried looking at Catalina Island, but hotel prices are outrageous for 1 night (the lowest pet friendly hotel was 250). Palm Springs is great, close and only 70 or 80 bucks for a hotel, but its SOO hot during July/August! Any other ideas would be appreciated.. somewhere not too far, not too expensive, not tooo hot. We’ve gone to San Diego already, btw, so anything besides that:o)

Answer: Pismo Beach if you want Classic California. That’s off the 101 between Santa Maria and San Luis Obispo. Combination of white sand beaches and wine country. You can find classic cottage style rooms for less than $100. If you like wine, this will be heaven for you – plus a bonus you get to visit Hearst Castle because it’s just minutes away!
