Question: Scuba diving?????????????????

I’m going scuba diving in a week in California, but I’m terrified of sharks! I keep thinking of the movie Jaws! Lol So should I be scared or what? I’m 13 by the way so it’s my first time. I’ve never done anything of the sort so Ive never even practiced in a pool and I won’t get to! I’ll just get a lesson and go scuba diving off a beach on Catalina island. Any advice would be greatly appreciated! Thanks!

Answer: no! not at all what you should look forward to at catilina island is dolphins swimming and playing in your bubbels ( if they are there that day) or seals or sea lions all these anomals are very curios and love to play some times the seals will come right up to you and check you out. but sharks no the most you MIGHT see is a shadow way out there but they jsut ignore you. have fun
