Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden Part One
Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden
Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden is also called the Wrigley Memorial Garden after William Wrigley Jr. Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden is particularly concerned with eight Santa Catalina Island endemics, plants which grow naturally only on Santa Catalina Island. The Wrigley Memorial Garden maintains a special interest in the preservation of all Catalina endemics, including the rare Santa Catalina Island Ironwood.

The Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden is about 37 acres and includes the Wrigley Memorial built in 1933. It takes approximately 45 minutes to walk around the whole of the Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden. However, if you want to examine any plants or cactus closely or want to hike up the mountain behind it, (easiest access to the best view on the entire island!) you may want to allocate many hours of your time to tour the Santa Catalina Island Botanical Garden.
