Golf Cart is the most common form of transportation on Santa Catalina Island

Almost every house on Santa Catalina Island has a golf cart since cars are so restricted and the waiting list for owning a car is currently 2 years. Everywhere you go on Santa Catalina Island, you will see golf carts parked and on roads. Local families use them and they are also for rent for visitors for about $35 an hour. If you want to buy a golf cart, it is about $1,000+ for a used one.
